Hotel Vista Premio Nagomitei Kyoto is a six-minute walk from Shijo Station, and a similar distance from Karasuma Station. What does this mean? Well, you are in the heart of where you want to be in Kyoto, notwithstanding the quiet backstreets on which the hotel is located. A short walk will bring you to Nishi Market, Nijo Castle, the Gion district,
and even the Imperial Palace…not to mention countless shops, bars and restaurants surrounding you. In short – you couldn’t wish to be in a better location.

Because it is a new hotel, they were able to address the most common design fault of hotels in Kyoto = room size. Those extra square metres make a difference and the bathrooms are also a step-up – separate bath tubs and shower cubicles, no less! Otherwise, all the tasteful design features, amenities and Japanese touches available in the original Vista Premio Hotel carry over to its newer, smarter sister hotel.

A tasty buffet breakfast is served daily, though there is no restaurant for the evenings. By, why would you ever need one – walk directly on the backstreets of Kyoto and many a hidden-gem awaits!

And finally…the staff; friendly, accommodating, welcoming and proficient in English.

Location

Great location, close to the heart of Kyoto. Atmospheric Pontocho alley (restaurants and river views) is close by, as is the Gion district. The hotel is amidst shops and restaurants, a five-minute walk from Nishiki Market.
